Kery James Levy - Sports Medicine
Having been deeply involved in playing a number of sports, I experienced the inevitable down side of injury on a number of occasions. Using Osteopathy I was able to return to activity amazingly quickly
I attended the London School of Osteopathy (5 year degree course) and graduated in 2002.
While I was training to be an Osteopath, I worked for six years in an Osteopathic practice that specialized in the treatment of both professional and amateur sports men and women. These included working with first team players from Chelsea F.C. and Crystal Palace.
Using the combined effects of Osteopathy, electrotherapy, strapping, and rehabilitation the recovery speed from injury to full fitness can be remarkable. Many Osteopaths say they treat sports injury. An in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the particular sport a person is returning to is key in returning them to full fitness as quickly and safely as possible.

I opened The 1-2-1 Osteopathic clinic in 2005 and later expanded the clinic to include 4 treatment rooms and a dedicated rehabilitation and exercise studio. Please see the link below for STUDIO 22
Sports Injury Treatment
We always begin by conducting a full analysis, examining functionality, posture and biomechanics, to give us an in-depth knowledge of how your body moves and why.

It enables us to pinpoint the primary drivers of your discomfort – areas of imbalance or misalignment that can lead to soreness in another part of the body. It might be we find that an old ankle injury is resulting in chronic backache.

After assessing you, we use the optimum combination of a variety of therapies to get you moving freely again and to ensure long-lasting recovery. Our therapies might include manual techniques such as soft tissue and myofascial release, complemented with a specific programme of movement exercises designed precisely for your needs.

We then reassess you to determine your progress, and adjust the treatment accordingly. Our goal is to return you to full functional fitness, and to reduce the recurrence of injury.

We have a fully equipped rehabilitation gym on-site for any patients that need specific strength and conditioning work during their treatment process.
